1. Millie L. IVEY (Vine Allen³,James Jr.²,James Sr.¹) was born in 1875.  She died on 21 Aug 1944 in Johnston County, North Carolina.

She was married to William B. POPE (son of Starlin R. POPE and Spicey) on 22 Jan 1896 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  William B. POPE was born about 1872.  Millie and William had the following children:

3.    Joseph Burley POPE was born on 13 Jul 1901.  He died on 30 Mar 1984 in Dunn, Harnett County, North Carolina.

4.    Jasper R. POPE was born about 1902.

SECOND GENERATION

2.  Deroy Franklin POPE (Millie L. Ivey⁴,Vine Allen³,James Jr.²,James Sr.¹) was born on 12 Dec 1897.  He died on 27 Jul 1990 in Harnett County, North Carolina.

He was married to Lallar Mae STEWART (daughter on Joseph W. STEWART and Betsey MCLAMB) on 24 Feb 1924 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  Lallar Mae STEWART was born on 10 May 1902.  She died on 23 Apr 1972 in Dunn, Harnett County, North Carolina.

5.  William Chester POPE (Millie L. Ivey⁴,Vine Allen³,James Jr.²,James Sr.¹) was born on 5 Dec 1903.  He died in Nov 1971 in Durham, Durham County, North Carolina.

He was married to Ethel Gladys ADAMS on 31 Aug 1924 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  William and Ethel had the following children:

THIRD GENERATION

6.  William Hawkins POPE (William Chester Pope⁵,Millie L. Ivey⁴,Vine Allen³,James Jr.²,James Sr.¹) was born on 24 Sep 1925 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  He died on 15 Jan 1984 in Smithfield, Johnston County, North Carolina.

He was married to Katie Belle WOOD on 28 Sep 1946 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  Katie Belle WOOD was born on 5 Mar 1925.  She died on 29 Jun 2005 in Benson, Johnston County, North Carolina. 

William and Katie have four living children.
